Book Summary
Fifteen-year-old Aiyappan lives in Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, India. He learns a form of folk theatre called Kuttu at the Kattaikuttu School run by the master-teacher, Kuttu vaathiyaar, P Rajagopal. He also learns Maths, Science, Languages and Computers, along with his classmates ? many boys and some girls. Their teacher has written an unusual play, The Magic Horse, especially for them ? a play about a strange encounter between two children and two aliens. As the children rehearse for their first public performance, they learn to sing and dance and to speak a new kind of alientalk . . . Pada pada pandi! Kida kida kindi . . .!
