Book Summary
hekhar Gupta's editorial column in The Indian Express leaves no stone unturned in its search for truth and justice. Over a period of nearly 17 years, the column has touched upon a myriad topics, from the Gujarat riots to the December 2012 gang rape in Delhi which saw the country rise up against rapists everywhere. Gupta favours a variety of tones, always appropriate to the topic, and offers his unbiased views on all of them. Humourous at times and solemn at others, his column began with a barbarous dig at the ambitions of Sitaram Kesri. Direct, riveting and always relevant in its viewpoints, the column has preserved the original essence 17 years on, and still rises up to discuss topics such as the rise of Narendra Modi and the state of affairs under the Congress.
