She was born in New Delhi, India, and grew up in the exciting city of Mumbai. After graduating from Villa Theresa High School, She completed her Bachelors in Economics and Political Science from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. After her marriage, She lived in Mexico and Argentina for a few years, and then moved to the USA where she completed a second Bachelor's in Elementary Education. She currently lives in sunny South Florida, with her husband and two daughters.
Writing was a passion from childhood, but it was not until she wrote an exotic script on women for Jazz Yatra, a cultural fusion performance of Indian Dance and Music held in Coral Springs, Florida, that she fully realized her hidden potential. "Rejuvenation" was published in Pardes, a local magazine, the first in a series of short stories.
'When the Lotus Blooms' her debut novel, began as a project to share with the world the miracle of her mother's birth. It changed in character, from a biographical novel to historical fiction.
