Boria Majumdar, a Rhodes Scholar, is the author of a number of much acclaimed books on Indian sport, which include Twenty-Two Yards to Freedom: A Social History of Indian Cricket (2004), Olympics: The India Story (2008, Revised and Updated 2012) and the Illustrated History of Indian Cricket (2006 and revised and updated 2009). His most recent book is on food, Cooking on the Run: An Average Indian Man's Encounters With Food (Harper Collins 2012). He is an Oped Columnist for the Times of India and sports expert with Times Now Television. A young global leader with the World Economic Forum, he has taught at the Universities of Oxford, Chicago, Toronto and Monash in Melbourne
