Benyamin has lived in Bahrain since 1992. His short story collection Euthanasia won the first award of the Abu Dhabi Malayalam Samajam. His novel Aadu Jeevitham (A Goat’s Life) won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for 2009.
