Sreemoyee’snext book is book Sita’s Curse (Hachette)– an erotic fiction that has already been covered in Vogue, Timeslife, Open Magazine and Andpersand.
Sita’sCurse looks at love, longing, sex, sexuality and sin through the eyes of a 45-year-old, protagonist Mrs. Meera Patel who lives in a congested housing society… somewhere in the midst of Mumbai. Meera’s metamorphosis from a naïve girl from a Gujarat village, married off at 16 to a man she’s never met in Mumbai to a woman who’s fearless in seeking the fulfillment of her desires, both emotional and physical, is expressed through an explosively sexual saga. The novel reaches its culmination on July 26, 2005 in a climax that is both agonizingly adult and yet addictively adventurous.
Sreemoyee has also been signed byHachette for her third novel – a racy, tongue in cheek, lad lit You’ve Got The Wrong Girlthat breaks new ground as a woman writer foraying into the realm of lad lit in India, made famous internationally by writers like Nick Hornby and Matt Dunn.

After being at the helm of a flourishing media canvas, Sreemoyeethen diversified into PR with senior mandates of building key media strategy and leading lifestyle & entertainment verticals at Genesis BursonMarstellar and Hanmer MS&L, New Delhi respectively.
Sreemoyeeis alumnus of Loreto House, Kolkata, havingcompleted her graduation and post graduation in History from Jadavpur University from where she was a gold medalist.
Sreemoyeehas beenfeatured in the Marie Claire as part of the magazine’s India Exciting anniversary series, alongside writers Debanjana Pal, Jerry Pinto, director ShoojitSircar and achievers from other professions, such as advertising and music.
