Book Summary
This book deals with new age fertility rites, as couples who long to have children are willing to do anything to have that coveted child. When social worker Simran Singh is asked to help with an abandoned baby 'commissioned' by British parents ---the last thing she expects is that she will be dragged into the mysterious world of sperm and egg donors --as well as surrogacy. As she encounters a wall of secrecy around the international business of baby production, she also finds out that it can be very dangerous. The journey to find out the truth behind baby Amelia's birth takes her from Delhi to London ---where she falls in love with a sperm donor ---and then discovers that the stakes in this multi-billion dollar business are very high indeed.
